This was a quick project I created at Simon Fraser University during my New Media Journalism program. Our assignment was to make a video report that told a story.
I scheduled a few days to retrieve the B-roll and conduct the interviews, and had two sessions in our computer lab to slap it all together into something cohesive. It was not meant for the public to see, which is why I never promoted it, but I made it available if you’re curious to see what my frantic fingers can accomplish under duress.
It most definitely was not my best video work (or voiceover) but my interviewees, Adam Parsons and Enrique Garcia, were so much fun to work with that it was another reason I just had to share it on here.
So this is it, a video highlighting the life of an actor trying to make it in Vancouver.
